ChatGPT Ads agency
I set up and run your ads inside ChatGPT the way Google Ads and Meta work when they work: measurement before the first euro, one hypothesis per campaign, and a read every week.
Climent Media sets up and runs ChatGPT Ads in OpenAI Ads Manager for companies already spending on paid media, from Utrecht. The channel is new and I have not launched a campaign in it yet: I say so plainly. What I bring is eight years of Google Ads and Meta: measure before you spend, read what happens after the click, and accept no platform recommendation without a reason. You can hire it on its own, no bundle.
What I do in your ChatGPT Ads account
- The pixel and the Conversions API set up and checked before launch, with the same event ID on both so nothing counts twice.
- Context hints written one by one: they decide which conversations you show up in.
- Budget read by the week, which is how ChatGPT spends it.
- OpenAI clicks checked against GA4 sessions before anyone believes a cost per click.
What changes in ChatGPT, and what does not
If you already run Google Ads, this is what changes in ChatGPT:
| Google Ads | ChatGPT Ads | |
|---|---|---|
| What triggers the ad | Keywords | Context hints: you describe which conversations your ad fits |
| Auction | Bid and ad quality | Weighted by relevance to the conversation, not only the bid |
| Daily budget | Up to double in a day, 30.4 times in a month | A seven-day average: up to double in a day, and if the week runs out early the campaign stops until Sunday while still showing as active |
| In the EEA and Switzerland | Personalisation with consent | Matched to the conversation, not to the person’s history |
What does not change is what makes a campaign sell: knowing what counts as a conversion, measuring it properly and reading every week what happened. It is the same job as in Google Ads and Meta, and it is where the money goes in a new channel, because everyone starts by watching the click.

When ChatGPT Ads is worth testing, and when it is not yet
Whether ChatGPT Ads is worth testing depends on where you start. My first reply would go like this:
| Your situation | What makes sense |
|---|---|
| Your company bills from the US, the UK, Europe or Latin America | Self-serve is open there. What counts is where the billing entity sits, not where you log in from. The US minimum is 25 USD a day; in euros, 15. |
| Google Ads or Meta already runs and is measured | Yes. ChatGPT gets tested as one more channel, against what you already know brings customers. |
| You do not know yet which lead turns into revenue | That first. Without it, ChatGPT is spend in the dark, like any other platform. |
| You want guaranteed results and case studies with numbers | Not here. The channel is months old. If someone shows you a case, ask where it comes from. |
How I set up your first ChatGPT Ads campaign
Measurement first
The OpenAI pixel on the site and the Conversions API from the server, with the same event ID on both: OpenAI keeps the first one that arrives and drops the duplicate. Static UTM parameters on the landing URL too, which OpenAI keeps on the click. One detail almost nobody reads: the crawlers that review your ad visit the page with those UTMs, and GA4 can count them as paid traffic even though you are not billed.
One objective per campaign, chosen well
Views (you pay per thousand impressions), clicks (per click) or conversions (you still pay per click or per impression, never per conversion). The objective cannot be changed later: pick wrong and it is a new campaign. So it gets decided before launch, from what you already measure.
Context hints, one theme per ad group
Phrases that describe what you sell, who it helps and when it is useful. They are not keywords and guarantee nothing, but they steer where you appear. One ad group per theme: mix products and the context stops describing anything.
A date to decide
Before launch I write down what has to happen (for example, cost per lead against Google and Meta, on the same attribution window) and when it gets read. If it does not happen, it stops and you hear it. If it does, it scales.
Why someone from Google Ads and Meta should run it
A new channel is learned with money. The question is whose. In Google Ads and Meta I have watched the same early mistakes for eight years: the conversion defined wrong, the recommendation accepted untested, the report that stops at the click. ChatGPT invites the same ones, with fewer tools in the account to warn you.
I will not show you a ChatGPT Ads case study, because I do not have one yet. What I can show you is how I run a paid account week to week, on the AI PPC management page, and what I have published on the channel, in Spanish for now: the ChatGPT Ads guide.
You can hire it on its own. Google or Meta do not have to come with it: if another agency runs them, ChatGPT can sit next to them.
If you want to test ChatGPT Ads
Send me what you sell, where your company bills from and what you already spend on Google or Meta. If ChatGPT does not fit yet, you get told.
FAQ
What does a ChatGPT Ads agency do?
A ChatGPT Ads agency sets up measurement, builds the campaigns in OpenAI Ads Manager, writes the context hints and the ads, and reads every week what happened after the click. The same job as in Google Ads or Meta, under the rules of a channel without keywords.
How much does advertising on ChatGPT cost?
The minimum daily budget is 25 USD on accounts billed in dollars and 15 EUR on accounts billed in euros. You pay per thousand impressions or per click, including on conversion-optimised campaigns. For click campaigns, OpenAI recommends starting with a maximum bid of 3 to 5 USD.
Do you have ChatGPT Ads case studies?
Not yet: I have not launched a campaign in ChatGPT, and I would rather say so than show a case that is not mine. What I bring is Google Ads and Meta experience, and what I measure will go on this page when I have it.
Do I have to hire Google Ads or Meta management too?
No. ChatGPT Ads can be hired on its own. If another agency runs Google or Meta, ChatGPT gets compared against what they measure.
