FAQ
Why connect Search Console to an ads tool?
Because the two answer the same business question from opposite sides. If a query already ranks first organically, bidding hard on it may be buying clicks you would have had anyway. You cannot see that from inside the ad account, and almost nobody checks.
Is Search Console data delayed?
Yes, usually by a couple of days, and it is sampled for very long ranges. That matters if you expect it to confirm something that happened yesterday. For the week-over-week reading this is built around, the delay is not a problem.
Does it need write access?
No. Search Console is a reporting surface; there is nothing meaningful to write. Any connector asking for more than read access to it is asking for more than the job needs.
